2 Corinthians 6:16-18

“What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, ‘I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me,’ says the Lord Almighty.”

This verse has spoken to me today so I wanted to share it. Lately, I have been listening to a sermon a day and it has really been helping my mental health. I realize that God’s word is the best remedy to help me in hard times. God is always here for us no matter the circumstance and that is such a blessing.
The sermon I watched today was by John McArthur and he spoke about separating from unbelievers. It was definitely something that I personally needed to listen to and I’m happy that I did. It has spoken volumes to me and shown me that I need to stand my ground in my beliefs and not let others shake me.

God is my rock. If something doesn’t glorify God, then I need to get it out of my life. Whether it’s a relationship, object, or feeling, it needs to be gone.

Here is the sermon I watched today:
I hope you enjoyed this short devotion, have a blessed Sunday!
